PMD 370MC is functionally the same as the PMD 370 except that it lacks a built- in display. The unit directly connects to Modicon PLCs that support S908 remote I/O. PMD 370MC emulates a D908 mod-ule so that it can exchange data with the  PLC. The PMD is programmed as a specific drop number.

PMD 375MC is  functionally the same as the PMD 375 except that it lacks a built-in display. The  unit directly connects to Modicon Modbus Plus local area network system. PMD  375 is a node on the network with its own network address, which allows it to  exchange data with the PLC. The PMD can be programmed to monitor PLC  holding registers for message control, data set information, and LED control.

These products generate chaining, blinking, scrolling, printing, and centering  messages. Hardware features include data logging, 115 chained-message  queuing with prioritization capability, and the ability to program messages in U.S.,  English, Swedish, French, Danish, German, Cyrillic, and Japanese Kana inter- national character sets for output to slave display units.

Any ASCII terminal or  personal computer with an RS-422A interface can be used to program a whole network of message displays. AVG Uticor's free custom software provides the  menus, prompts and help screens that make message entry and editing easy...And, the message simulation feature lets you see your messages as they  will appear on your AVG Uticor PMD Series slave displays.
