It can output signals to drive 2- or 4-line displays with 40 or 80 characters. Parameters are set up with front panel pushbuttons. The unit features direct connection to Modicon Modbus-based PLCs.
This product features outputs to enable chained, blinking, scrolling, printed, and centered messages on slave displays. Hardware features include data logging, 16-message queuing with prioritization capability, and the ability to program messages for output in U.S., English, Swedish, French, Danish, German, Cyrillic, and Japanese Kana international character sets.
Any ASCII terminal or personal computer with an S- 422 interface can be used to program a whole network of message displays. AVG Uticor's free custom software provides the menus, prompts and help screens that make message entry and editing easy... And, the message simulation feature lets you see your messages as they will appear on your AVG Uticor PMD slave displays.
