AVG Uticor's PMD 370 and PMD 375 are versatile 4-line displays with 20 vacuum fluorescent 0.492" (12.5 mm) high characters per line.
PMD 370 directly connects to Modicon PLCs that support S908 remote I/O. PMD 370 emulates a D908 module so that it can exchange data with the PLC. The PMD 370 is programmed as a specific drop number.
PMD 375 directly connects to a Modicon Modbus Plus local area network system. PMD 375 is a node on the network with its own network address, which allows it to exchange data with the PLC. The PMD 375 can be programmed to monitor PLC holding registers for message control, data set information, and LED control.
These products feature chaining, blinking, scrolling, printing, and centering messages. Hardware features include data logging, 115 chained-message queuing with prioritization capability, and the ability to program messages in U.S., English, Swedish, French, Danish, German, Cyrillic, and Japanese Kana international character sets.
Any ASCII terminal or personal computer with an RS-232C interface can be used to program a whole network of message displays. AVG Uticor's free custom software provides the menus, prompts, and help screens that make message entry and editing easy... And, the message simulation feature lets you see your message, as it will appear on your AVG Uticor PMD 370 or PMD 375.
