Freedom to walk across the PLC line

With BusModules, you are not locked into a particular PLC for a desired function. When you select any of the supported PLC's, you can use the desired function module with it. THis, effectively, gives you the freedom to use any PLC.

Reduced Design Time

Does the following scenario sound familiar to you? After finishing a particular machine design with a certain PLC, you find that the requirements for another machine calls for a different PLC. With BusModules, you can save valuable design time as well as utilize most of your work. Plug the same function module into the new PLC; use the same wiring scheme and algorithm to communicate with the function module from the back plane.

Reduced Personnel Training

THe BusModule provides, for a given function, a common user interface (wiring & programming) across different PLC's. This means that the operation and maintenance personnel learn only one type of Function Module, yet work on different PLC's.

Obsolescence Proof Upgradability

If in the lifetime of the machine, you need to enhance the functionality by using a newer Function Module, you only have to change the Function Module. The cradle and output modules are not changed; thus saving cost. Similarly, if you changed your PLC, you can use the same Function Module & Output Module and only need to change the Cradle for the new PLC.

Off the Shelf Delivery

With the current 6 Cradles, 11 Function Modules, and 3 Output Modules (total 20 modules), you have, effectively, an inventory of 198 possible plug-in modules, all off the shelf.
