Over the years, AVG Autotech has been the first ...

  • to apply microprocessors to PLS,
  • to offer back-EMF-based antiplugging switches,
  • the first and only company to offer constant torque digital brakes,
  • to offer a PLS with ladder logic programming capability,
  • and the first to offer a resolver with integrated electronics.

DigiSolver, Metal Sensors [ 1985 ]

BusModules [ late 80's ]

Back in 1985, Autotech revolutionzed, the encoder market by introducing the DigiSolver - the industry's first resolver based digital encoder that combined the ruggedness of a resolver with the reliability of solid state circuitry. Autotech's Digibrake has set a standard against which all other electronic motor brakes are judged.

Autotech's SCR Metal Sensors can sense moving targets through non magnetic metals using a patented technology.

In late 80's Autotech introduced the concept of resolver decoder module that plugs directly into the PLCs eliminating the need of stand alone decoder module. In the world of pro-prietary PLCs and racks, these modules called BusModules provide the only "Universal" solution.

These modules are uni-versal as the same module can be used in any of the supported PLC racks offering a common user interface (for a function) across different PLCs.
